Lean Enterprise
An operating model for large organisations that want to be fast. Optimise the whole value stream. Build feedback into every step. Treat the business as a portfolio of experiments.
How to use it. Apply when delivery teams are already fast and the bottleneck is the organisation around them. Finance, HR, procurement, and governance are the layers that slow companies down once engineering is sorted.
How it gets misused. Treated as a scaling framework for agile teams. Lean Enterprise is about the wider organisation adopting practices that let fast teams stay fast. The teams are usually fine. The organisation around them is the problem.
