When: You are about to teach the same thing to a third team.
The action: Stop teaching it and raise it with the platform team as a capability they could offer self-service.
Forces: Teaching is visible and satisfying, and it keeps the enabling team busy. Handing it over removes work the enabling team can point to. The platform team may not have capacity, so the gap can sit unaddressed for a while.
Signals: The next team that needs the capability gets it without contacting you. Requests to the enabling team on this topic drop.
When not to: The knowledge depends on judgement in context and can't be turned into a product. Keep teaching it, and look for a module instead.
