The Future Is Already Here (Gibson)
The future is already here. It is just not evenly distributed.
How to use it. When someone says "this is not possible yet", ask where it already exists. Elite DORA performers, well-run engineering organisations, and mature DDD shops have already done the thing you are chasing. The work is to spread it. Find the existing instance and study it.
How it gets misused. Used to dismiss real adoption gaps. The fact that something exists somewhere does not mean it can be installed anywhere. The local conditions that made the future possible there may not be reproducible here. Distribution is the hard part because context matters.
